Reaching out for support can be intimidating. It often comes with uncertainty, vulnerability, and not knowing where to start. If you’re here, you’ve already taken that first step.
My goal is to offer a space where you feel supported, understood, and comfortable showing up as you are. Therapy with me is collaborative and tailored to you, and we move at a pace that feels manageable, with a balance of support and gentle challenge. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and periods of feeling stuck, helping you better understand your emotions, shift patterns that are no longer serving you, and build healthier ways of coping.
I also support clients who struggle with people-pleasing, setting boundaries, or feeling disconnected from themselves. Together, we can explore what’s underneath these patterns and work toward building self trust, clearer communication, and more balanced, fulfilling relationships. I use an integrative approach, drawing from Emotion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and other evidence based practices depending on your needs, with a focus on helping you build self compassion and move toward a life that feels more aligned with who you are.
My background in animal welfare and veterinary medicine continues to shape my work. I hold a particular space for pet loss and the unique bond people share with their animals. Losing a pet is a real and significant loss, and it deserves care and acknowledgment. I am also committed to providing an inclusive and affirming space for individuals within the LGBTQIA2S+ community, where you are welcome to show up fully as yourself.
My path into this work began with a Social Service Worker diploma at Mohawk College, followed by a Bachelor of Social Work with a minor in Psychology at TMU, and a Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. During this time, I worked with the Toronto Humane Society and in veterinary medicine, where I built strong connections with clients and their pets. This experience deepened my understanding of grief, attachment, and trauma, and continues to inform my work today.
If you’re curious about working together, I encourage you to reach out for a consultation. It’s a safe space to connect, ask questions, and see if this feels like the right fit for you.
